Sensory Integration Room Installation at Bedelsford Chaucer Centre

Creating the right environment for children with additional needs is essential for supporting both learning and wellbeing. In this project, we worked with the Chaucer Centre, part of Bedelsford School, to design and install two specialist spaces within a new building that supports primarily autistic children and those with SEMH - a sensory room and a sensory integration room.

Designing a home sensory room can make a transformative difference for children with additional needs who benefit from sensory input and structured play environments. In this residential project, we worked closely with a family to create a dedicated sensory and soft play room tailored specifically to their son’s needs.

Chiltern Primary School is a nurturing and inclusive primary school based in Basingstoke, dedicated to providing every child with a supportive learning environment. After identifying a need for a safer, more flexible sensory classroom play system in one of their classrooms, the school contacted us to discuss a tailored solution. With the experience of transforming two spaces at their sister school, Oakridge, they were eager to bring a similar approach to this project.

Hydrotherapy Pool Sensory Installation At SEND School

Woodlands Meed School is a specialist school and college supporting children and young people aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). After ongoing problems with their sensory system, the school contact us to transform their pool with a modern, reliable hydrotherapy pool sensory system that would revitalise the space and enhance the therapeutic experience for their students. 

Oakridge School Calming Breakout Room and Modular Sensory Room Case Study

Oakridge School provides a supportive and inspiring learning environment for pupils from nursery to junior age. To enhance its inclusive provision, we we worked with the school to create a modular sensory room with soft play features alongside a calming breakout space, supporting pupils’ sensory and emotional wellbeing. Soft Play Room at Highfurlong School in Blackpool

Highfurlong School, part of the Synergy Education Trust, is a Special School located in Blackpool. Sensory Technology first collaborated with the school in 2016, delivering sensory sound and lighting solutions for their Hydrotherapy Pool. In March 2025, the school approached us again to design and install a bespoke Soft Play Room and two Calming Rooms to further enhance their sensory provision. Grange University Hospital Multi Sensory Room in Wales

The Grange University Hospital, located in Cwmbran, Wales and managed by Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, offers assessment and treatment for people with learning disabilities. After an initial consultation in 2020 followed by a subsequent four-year fundraising period, Sensory Technology was contracted to install a multisensory room. Read more about our transformation.

Dovers Green Primary School based in Surrey, focuses on creating a caring environment where children can grow in confidence and independence as they move forward on their learning journey. Immersive Wall Installation At Lisburne Special School With Galaxy Theme

Lisburne Special School in Stockport, serving 214 primary pupils with complex learning needs, opened a new state-of-the-art facility in 2024 to transform SEND education. As part of this initiative, Sensory Technology installed a 10m immersive wall and interactive floor in the dance studio to enhance engagement and learning, reflecting the council’s commitment to high-quality SEND provision.
