Sensory Serenity at Manor Green School

Sensory Serenity Calming Room

Sensory Serenity is the  calming room system from Sensory Technology. The systems are created to be safe spaces to aid in the de-escaltion of a user by providing an area to escape to protect both themselves, as well as others around them.

The two systems installed at Manor Green School in Maidenhead both create a safe, welcoming space for the users to take time out. Each room includes full wall padding, as well as floor padding to give a soft finish throughout. They also incorporate calming colour changing lighting and sound systems, both of which are controlled from outside the room to allow for easy supervisor use as well as ensuring the safety of any onsite staff. Lockabale cabinets are mounted to the walls outside each room which house the controller for the lights, as well as a sound system input and volume control.
