Our sensory room training service provides hands-on training on how to operate and control the sensory systems and equipment already installed within your environment. This may include training on how to operate lighting, projection systems, sound equipment, interactive controls, wall panels, switches, tablets, apps, immersive systems and specialist sensory equipment.
Rather than being tailored to individual users, this practical sensory equipment training focuses specifically on the functions, features and day-to-day operation of your installed equipment. We typically recommend booking refresher training for sensory rooms every 3–5 years to help ensure staff and supervisors remain fully up to date with the operation, controls and functions of the installed system. Refresher training can also be beneficial following staff changes, equipment updates or when introducing new immersive media and themes to your environment.
If you have several staff members who would like to attend training, we would typically recommend smaller groups where possible. This helps ensure the highest quality of training can be delivered, while allowing enough time for demonstrations, questions and hands-on guidance throughout the session. However if you do have a larger number, please mention this upon enquiry and we can accommodate.
