Softplay Rooms from Sensory Technology


The images below show a range of previous installations undertaken by Sensory Technology Ltd. These include interactive sensory softplay rooms, made to measure softplay padding, softplay building blocks and softplay rockers. Rooms are fully designed, with all padding manufactured to order to guarantee a good fit!

Softplay Steps, Hidaway Hut and Slide. the steps and slide have switches in them to actvate the Solar Projectors - shown here with the 'Balloons' and 'Cloud' effect wheels. The Hideaway Hut has mirror on the walls and a Fibre Optic Carpet attached to the ceiling to create the illusion of an ongoing starry sky. Even this round room could be padded for safety. A stage with removable 'terrain' blocks. The top stage pad is removable to reveal a full wooden stage platform. The front of the stage will also pull down for storage! The open stage allows for storage so no lost space! An Interactive LED Ball Pool - change the colour of the balls by using the switches on the wall. The edges of the steps and slide were highlighted in a contrasting colour to allow the visually impaired pupils at Linden Lodge School to easily identify them. A Trampoline and set of Stepping Stones on the softplay curcuit. Climbing Frames can also be supplied! A softplay Mangle and Waves give a good challenge! The black dot above the waves is the location of a switch to activate a Water Projector and crashing waves sound effect. Radiators can be padded with grills for venting the heat into the room. These hanging softplay sausages allow the user to tap one and change the colour of the room! They are suspended on a wire so can also be pushed back out of the way. A Water Bed with accessibility to allow a mobile hoist to slide underneath. Softplay Rooms can include building blocks and rockers. This wall pad allows the user to control the colour of the room - press one of the coloured squares to dictate the colour of the room, or press the multicoloured squares to place the room into a colour scroll or colour change. This padding folds down to allow access to the hidden room controllers.
